Sugar. Let's face it, sugar is in so much of what we eat. Our consumption of sugar as increased 10 fold over the last 50-years. Manufacturers add it, simply because it's addictive. Our bodies love the "taste" and quick energy we get from it, but it isn't a coincidence that as our consumption of sugar has increased, so to have our waist lines, as well as instances of diabetes and heart disease.
